Care should be taken when planning the installation location of an Entry Wizard and/or Swipe N Clean at a car wash. The screens are “bright light” readable however, in bright direct sunlight the screen visibility can diminish as much as 30%. In some cases an awning/covering can be installed to assist in the viewing of these devices. When a customer stands between the sun and an Entry Wizard or Swipe-N-Clean the normal visibility returns. In no case are these pieces of equipment represented to be viewable at 100% in direct sunlight.

UV Protected Screens (Clarification of Function)

All Entry Wizard computers are now shipped with the UV protected screen. This addresses problems encountered with the screens going "isotropic".
Iin rare occasions of intense heat due to direct sunlight, the screen will develop a black spot in the middle to lower left portion of the screen. This spot will grow to approximately 4", blocking much of the Entry Wizard menu screen. The UV coated screens will solve this problem. In no way does the UV protected screen address the problem of screens in direct sunlight as listed above. If anything it would make the screen somewhat less viewable.
